When award-winning New York playwright Philip Holt and his wife actor Patsy Magno Arizu drove past Thunderbird Ridge and saw the EQUUS horses, they had an idea. Why not use the ranch setting and the horses as a backdrop to Philips new contemporary play “The Peregrine”?

Philip contacted EQUUS and within days, he and Patsy were nose to nose with Brio, our 17 hand blood-bay lusitano. Brio graced the arena while Philip’s camera rolled. Now Brio is the backdrop for “The Peregrine’s” debut in the West End of London, playing from from Monday 27 August to Sunday 2 September.
