About
We believe that a conscious culture of authenticity, accountability, and
collaboration can forge the way to a more just and sustainable world.
We believe that people are capable of amazing, creative and purposeful accomplishments, and that their dreams are made manifest through courage, intention, honesty and challenging their own thinking. We are an innovative change-making platform that assists individuals and organizations to be who they deeply strive to be, and achieve what they profoundly wish to achieve
Our clients are high performers and life long learners who appreciate our unconventional approach to inspired leadership, personal and professional development, self-agency and transformation. We custom design experiential processes that support breakthrough learning and long-term sustained change.
We work offsite, virtually, and on our 11-acre Experiential Learning & Discovery Campus – Thunderbird Ridge in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
Mission
EQUUS is a self-mastery, discovery and leadership development organization that offers uniquely inspired transformational coaching, retreats and workshops for our clients, and certifications for select, advanced coaches. We leverage evidence-based experiential approaches to ignite powerful lasting breakthrough learning and self-actualization for individuals, families, teams and organizations. We custom design innovative processes to serve the needs and meaningful achievements of our clients, whether they be short-term sessions and workshops, or long-term retainer engagements.
EQUUS uniquely leads connected humanity, relationship and leadership coaching for individuals and groups — leveraging awareness, wisdom and presence in order that we co-create success. Our work develops new capacities of awareness, wisdom and presence that are required today. New learning conditions need to be created for such capacities to emerge. EQUUS creates these conditions for its client’s — with extreme care and the highest standards.
Promise
Sacred
EQUUS believes places, people, creatures and circumstances deserve unconditional positive regard. We express this wherever we are, with a respect, reverence, care and connection to the place we are and everyone who is present. We bring along the epic histories and lessons taught us by Elders of Original Peoples from around the globe to share, teach and continue powerful experiential conversation with open life-changers, leaders and thought leaders. We acknowledge and pay deep respect and gratitude to the traditional carers, elders and ancestors — past, present and future of the land on which we work.

The Spiral
The spiral is the oldest symbol known to be used by mankind. It is found in petroglyphs, art and on dwellings all around the world — across many traditions, ages and cultures. It reflects the universal pattern of growth and evolution and represents the goddess, the womb, fertility and life force energy. Reflected in the natural world, the spiral is found in human physiology, plants, minerals, animals, energy patterns, weather, growth and death. It is a sacred symbol that reminds us of our evolving journey in life. When used as a personal talisman, the spiral helps consciousness to accept the turnings and changes of life as it evolves. This is why it is deliberately integrated as part of the EQUUS logo.
Communication is a core principle with us.

Inspiring Wisdom for Life & Leadership
The innovative self-mastery and leadership development approach for individuals and organizations. We help people access wisdom in order that they might solve their challenges differently, and live more meaningful lives.
We believe that people are capable of amazing, creative and purposeful accomplishments…
We live in rapidly changing times. Organizations and their leaders, individuals, families and people from all walks of life need to be adaptive, nimble, resilient and aware in order to thrive. The challenges people face in the 21st century require attributes such as wisdom, awareness, intuition, mindfulness,
responsiveness, attunement and presence so they can live and work with meaning and deep purpose. Yet these elusive capacities cannot easily be acquired through conventional educational means. Instead, correct conditions need to be elegantly created in order for these qualities to emerge.

The Promise
Mankind is at an existential crossroads. Its cause stems from a profoundly mistaken premise––that we are separate. Yet, a way forward through a new narrative of humanity’s belonging to nature, is prophesied. The Promise, a short documentary by award-winning filmmaker Etienne Aurelius, traces an ancient legend about an agreement between humans and their noble companion, the horse. The film crosses the American West with author, entrepreneur, and outdoors-woman Kelly Wendorf, as she gathers Native stories and interviews academics. The Promise evidences symptoms of humanity out of balance––the plight of our national treasures: public lands, wild horses, and indigenous peoples––while offering us new hope.
