Grant is a receptive, conscientious and bold individual who has a passion for outdoor adventure and a heart that burns for deep connection to community, nature, and himself. He is a father, organic farmer, outdoor enthusiast, jack of many trades and builder of community. With an educational background in environmental sustainability, he has spent his years since exploring communities all across North America centered around earth-based spirituality, permaculture, and alternative socioeconomic structures to find more life-affirming ways of living on the Earth in order to reclaim both personal and collective sovereignty. He enjoys surrounding himself with people who have done deep inquiries into all aspects of themselves and have reclaimed, or rewilded, those parts of themselves that seemingly have no place in standard contemporary western culture. He finds purpose in working with animals because they can teach us those parts of ourselves that may have been forgotten or repressed over our years of living in a disconnected culture.
