Aimee Hadfield

LCSW, CET3, ACT, AES

Aimee Hadfield, LCSW, a visionary in reimagining mental health care, brings her expertise as a licensed mental health professional to help Equus clients transform their lives, relationships, and well-being.

Rooted in both science and spirit, Aimee's practice incorporates research-backed techniques with the metaphysical, applying JL Moreno's system of psychodrama, sociometry, and group psychotherapy— sometimes called “a mystical practice couched in psychiatry.” Known for her breakthrough techniques, Aimee taps into creativity, spontaneity, intuition, and training to help individuals address personal trauma, relational trauma, and generational wounds.

She’s earned a reputation as a touchstone for caregivers as she guides them to explore their roles. These life roles may include “caregiver,” “human,” and others — but they can be consciously created to reflect the care they provide to the people and communities they serve. As she says, "Every single one of your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors makes perfect sense based on the context of your story."

As the founder of Hearten House, a unique mental health space in Salt Lake City, Aimee challenges traditional mental health narratives. Her innovative methods reflect her personal commitment to help individuals thrive, addressing generational and relational trauma with empathy and insight. Her work with Equus promises a continuation of transformative experiences, rooted in a practice that sees no division between the mystical and the practical.
