Mark Woodward

Photographer, Facilitator

Mark is a photographer and filmmaker specializing in portraiture work and long-form storytelling.

He is half English, half American, and was born and raised in Hong Kong. Having spent the last number of years traveling the world as a photographer, journalist, and documentarian, he is now very contently calling Santa Fe home alongside his ten chickens and rescued pup, Willie Nelson.

In 2017, he was nominated for the British Council's Social Impact Award for his project Lia, documenting the transition of Angelita Romero from male to female, since 2011. Mark is also currently establishing, alongside another photographer and close friend, a Non Profit in New Mexico aiming to empower youth in their voices through the visual arts in underprivileged communities in New Mexico.
