Tanya Butler

Working with EQUUS via Halls' on Post Inc., hails from Jamaica, West Indies but migrated to the US in 2018. She worked in the financial industry in Jamaica for over 25 years, at least 14 of which were at the senior management level. As a wife and mother of 2 boys with a demanding career during those years, she quickly mastered skills such as time management and financial planning. While operating at a senior management level, she participated in numerous strategic planning sessions for her institutions, being responsible for both the development and execution of those relating to her area of oversight. She was also the project manager for projects ranging from implementing transaction processing systems (banking systems) to expanding bank branch offices.

Since coming to the US, Tanya has become a Tax Professional and does bookkeeping in order to allow herself the flexibility to care for her aged relatives.

Tanya thrives when she is busiest but unwinds by reading - her favorite genres being mystery and espionage. Her latest projects involve planting flowers and kitchen herbs, a few of which do die, but she keeps trying.
